These paintings are small 8" x 8" palette knife oil paintings on gallery wrapped canvas featured with my weekly blog postings.

Designed with a circular motif on square canvases, these abstract paintings reflect an aspect of what is written in each blog.

For many years I have been best known for my palette knife landscape paintings both studio and plein aire when I went by the name of Diane Van Noord.

I have written three books for women that feature my sailboat paintings. 

There is a workbook for women, a writing journal, and my own personal story of healing.

These oil or acrylic paintings were created by for my Life Coaching books for women.  Some originals are available and prints are always available.

The sailboat image is a metaphor for our journey in life,

whether in the harbor, sailing out to sea, or as a single study. 

The sailboats in these paintings represent the many aspects, challenges and joys in life

 and above all, the happiness we can feel.
